About My Practice

Over two decades of clinical experience dedicated to objective, evidence-based functional evaluation.

Background & Experience

I am a licensed physical therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. I have been performing Functional Capacity Evaluations and Impairment Ratings since 2006.

That experience gave me a deep understanding of not just the clinical side of physical therapy, but the needs of the broader system — attorneys, physicians, employers, and insurers — all of whom rely on accurate, objective functional data to make important decisions.

Why I Practice Independently

Independence matters in functional evaluation. When an evaluation is performed by someone affiliated with a treatment provider, law firm, or insurance company, the objectivity of the findings can be called into question.

I made a deliberate choice to practice independently. I have no financial relationship with any referral source. I receive no incentive tied to outcomes. My sole obligation is to provide an accurate, thorough assessment of what the individual can and cannot do — based on standardized testing, clinical observation, and established protocols.

This independence is what makes my evaluations credible and defensible, regardless of the setting — whether it's a courtroom, a claims review, or a physician's office.

My Approach

Every evaluation I perform follows a structured, standardized protocol that includes:

I treat every individual I evaluate with professionalism and respect. The evaluation process is explained clearly before it begins, and individuals are encouraged throughout to give their best effort.

Reports are comprehensive, clearly written, and delivered promptly — because I understand that delays can hold up legal proceedings, treatment decisions, and return-to-work timelines.
