Functional Capacity Evaluations provide objective, measurable data about your patient's physical abilities — information that can be difficult to determine through a clinical examination alone. Consider a referral when:
- You need objective data to determine work capacity or restrictions
- There's a discrepancy between reported symptoms and clinical findings
- A patient has reached maximum medical improvement and a permanent impairment rating is needed
- Return-to-work readiness needs to be assessed against specific job demands
- Disability documentation requires standardized functional evidence
- You need to establish a functional baseline before or after treatment

How to Refer
You can refer a patient for an FCE or Impairment Rating by contacting me directly by phone or through the online referral form. To expedite scheduling, please provide:
- Patient name and contact information
- Diagnosis and relevant medical history
- Type of evaluation requested
- Job description (if available and relevant)
- Any specific clinical questions you'd like addressed
Most evaluations can be scheduled within one to two weeks. Reports are typically delivered within 5–7 business days.
